You and a guest are cordially invited to join us for an exclusive luncheon, in gratitude of your legacy gift to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Speakers

  • Dr. Sarah Hales

Dr. Hales is a psychiatrist and researcher at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. She studies how advanced cancer affects patients and families, developing interventions to ease distress. She co-developed the CALM therapy method and co-authored the book Managing Cancer and Living Meaningfully. She also helped create the PEARL protocol, which explores psilocybin-assisted therapy for end-of-life distress.

  • Scott Cowie

Scott has faced four separate cancer diagnoses, and through it all, he is receiving cutting-edge treatment and vital emotional support from the Psychosocial Oncology team. His life has been profoundly shaped by the care and innovation at The Princess Margaret, and he will share his powerful story of resilience, hope, and the impact of comprehensive cancer care.
