Working together with health care and research professionals, patients, and the community, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation raises over $84 million annually to support breakthrough research, patient care and education programs at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (The Princess Margaret). The Princess Margaret is a recognized international leader in the fight against cancer and none of this would be possible without the generous support, commitment and dedication of our donors and our community.
Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, along with Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, comprise University Health Network (UHN). UHN is among the ranks of the world's leading providers of exemplary patient care and innovative research and teaching.
Our three main lines of business at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation are: Fund raising, investment management and stewardship.

Our Goals
Fundraising:
Raise $225 million in net fundraising revenue by 2013.
Investing:
Achieve 5% annual net real return on investments in endowed funds.
Achieve a competitive rate of return in the General and Restricted funds.
Granting:
Develop an annual granting business plan that aligns donor interests with the priorities of the cancer centre.
Steward the use of funds and impact on conquering cancer.
Organizational Excellence:
Ensure sufficient capacity to support goals.
Deliver comprehensive integrated donor stewardship measured by donor satisfaction.
Always measure the total fundraising cost % and overhead %
Building Brand Value:
Build and measure Brand Value to include Brand Image, fundraising Revenue and Growth.
