Online tool launched to help patients find 'Cancer Answers'

Answers to all of our questions seem to be readily available online in today’s digital era. A Google search can quickly provide a wealth of information but not all of this information is accurate.

This is a problematic notion for individuals who are concerned about the type of cancer they have and the symptoms they are experiencing, but unsure about which sources of information are relevant and reliable.

The Cancer Education team at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre addressed this concern by developing a search tool called “Cancer Answers” that provides trusted information about cancer. What makes this search tool unique is that it allows users to search by cancer type, stage of cancer, and specific test names.
