Margaret + George Make News

The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation proudly announces the 6th Margaret + George event, called Margaret and George Make News, a gala fashion show and dinner, that brings together Toronto’s most fashionable people to raise funds for the leading Breast Cancer Reconstruction Program at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. NYC fashion designer Sally LaPointe, presents her Spring/Summer 2018 Runway collection with featured model Maye Musk whose modelling career has spanned more than 50 years.

“Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. The Princess Margaret offers world leading research and clinical care for patients,” said Paul Alofs, President & CEO of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. “Margaret + George Make News is an amazing event that will raise funds crucial to helping us Conquer Cancer in Our Lifetime.”

The Margaret (The Princess Margaret) + George (George Corbo) event has raised more than $1 million since inception. Money raised from this year’s event will help fund a Physician Assistant for the Breast Reconstruction Program at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
