Since its inception, Journey has raised over $6.7 million gross to support Personalized Cancer Medicine, discovery research, treatment advances, education and new standards of care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world.

"Two in five Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime,” says Paul Alofs, President and CEO of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. “Everyone is touched by cancer in some way, and Journey allows us to come together on Father’s Day to share those stories and support Personalized Cancer Medicine at The Princess Margaret. The funds raised are vital to, helping us achieving our vision to Conquer Cancer In Our Lifetime.”

This community fundraiser featured Father’s Day activities, including live music and other family friendly entertainment.

“The Princess Margaret gave me back my life,” says Munira Premji, she is three-time cancer survivor. “I’ve successfully battled three different cancers; Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma and Breast Cancer.

Today, I am thriving because of the competent and compassionate care I received.  The Princess Margaret gave me hope when I had none, and the staff refused to give up on me.”
