It’s almost time for OneWalk!

On Sept. 10, some 4,000 participants will be taking part in The Rexall OneWalk to Conquer Cancer. That includes the walkers, the volunteers and all the supporters.

Together, they form an army of cancer warriors who will raise millions of dollars for cancer research this year.

Some of them are long-term warriors, while others are new faces who are joining the fight. We are grateful to everyone who takes part.

I believe this year’s OneWalk route will be the best one yet, starting and ending at Nathan Phillips Square.
The highlight of each walk, for me, is being greeted by the doctors and researchers at the end of the 25-kilometre trek.

Every warrior has a personal reason doing OneWalk. But given that more than 40 per cent of Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer, we all have a reason to support cancer research and to help conquer cancer in our lifetime.
