Breast Cancer Survivors are Caring Voices

 www.caringvoices.ca
A website developed with funds from the Weekend to End Breast Cancer links survivors from coast to coast

From Victoria to Toronto and Edmonton to Halifax, women and men with breast cancer as well as survivors, have an online tool to help them manage their disease thanks to Princess Margaret Hospital’s Caring Voices website.

Caring Voices provides individuals an opportunity to join online discussions, link with peer survivors and benefit from expert medical information. Content is updated regularly by the staff of the hospital’s award-winning Patient Education Program.

The Caring Voices Website is an initiative of the Weekend to End Breast Cancer (WEBC) Survivorship Centre, established with funds raised from the Walk. It is because of WEBC that resourceful and supportive tools are available through the WEBC Survivorship Centre.

Caring Voices is directly funded by THE QUILT, a group that raises funds to provide emotional, informational and physical support for breast cancer survivors, their family & friends, nationally. The website’s friendly design and easy-to-use navigation was donated by the experts at Toronto-based Klick Communications.
