To acknowledge and thank members of the PMH Family who have contributed their time, talent and expertise, enabling The Princess Margaret to become one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world. It is fitting we are initiating this award in the year when Princess Margaret Hospital is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The PMHF In Our Lifetime Achievement Award will be given out on an annual basis to a deserving individual whose contribution in his or her lifetime have made a significant impact on The Princess Margaret and helped us achieve our vision to CONQUER CANCER IN OUR LIFETIME.
Award
Each year, a meaningful gift will to be given to the deserving recipient, consisting of a crystal globe mounted on a wooden base with a silver plaque.
Timing
The PMHF In Our Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented annually at a cocktail reception in the fall of each year.
A suitable date to be arranged with the recipient.
Format
The format of the event will be a cocktail reception from 5: 30 – 7:30 p.m. We will invite key members of the Princess Margaret donor community as well as key leaders from the community that the recipient is associated with.
The agenda will include speeches by senior hospital and Foundation staff, and the presentation of the award and remarks by the recipient.
