The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer loves UHN Riders!

On June 11 and 12 The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation will be running the ninth annual Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.  This is the largest fundraising event in Canada, and It has raised over $141 million for cancer research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

The Foundation is grateful for the support this event receives from UHN employees who participate in so many ways—as riders, volunteers in the medical tents, or speakers to our large corporate and community teams who want to know about the cancer research that their funds are supporting.  Many riders single out the participation of so many Princess Margaret staff and the opportunity to ride alongside them as one of the highlights of the event for them.

Conversely, Princess Margaret staff see participation in the Ride as a wonderful opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to these very passionate Princess Margaret supporters. There were 4,853 riders in the 2015 Ride.

If you would like to find out more about the event or how to form your own team, you can watch our 2016 orientation video, visit the Ride website, or reach out to Ramona Oss (416-946-4466 or Ramona.Oss@thepmcf.ca).

UHN staff, their friends and family can register for the 2016 event from now until March 31 for only $25 (regularly $75).  Simply use the special code UHNRides2016 when registering.
