Doves of Hope 2016 dedication ceremony

After months of receiving beautiful tributes, the 16th annual Doves of Hope Campaign culminated in a stunning display of hope that saw thousands of doves covering the atrium at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

The Dove dedication ceremony, celebrating the tribute-themed campaign, drew crowds of people who wished to honour those who have been touched by cancer. Every Dove represents one person and their journey.

Mark Allison, Carley Allison’s father, shared their family’s story and a touching video tribute to Carley as a representation of inspiration and support to those who are experiencing their own unique cancer journey.

This year, over 11,000 doves were sent in, with more coming every day. Doves can still be created and shared online.
