New memories

My mom spent six months at The Princess Margaret for her chemotherapy treatments. I remember how sick she was. How it was hard for her to lose her hair. How self-conscious she was about the scar on her stomach.
But now I have new memories.

The Walk began in 2003 about two weeks after I started my job as CEO of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.  I will never forget that first walk and the closing ceremonies at the Band Shell at the CNE.  For the last two years, we have used the Rogers Centre as our home base and overnight bed and breakfast facility!
